Come along and join in the fun, create your own cartoon with local artist Wilbour. This workshop is part of the Shrewsbury Cartoon Exhibition showing at Qube Gallery from 11 May to 9 June. Just £3 to take part. Book your space now at Qube.
'Wilbur' is a full-time professional cartoonist and illustrator. His cartoons have appeared in Private Eye, Reader's Digest, The Spectator, Punch, The Times, The Independent and many others. He also works in the childrens' comics field, producing Mr Meecher The Uncool Teacher for The Dandy, as well as reviving old characters Winker Watson and The Badd Lads for the next Dandy annual. He has also worked in the book cover and illustration field.

Wilbur will take you through the whole process of cartooning, beginning with drawing simple cartoon figures, right through to creating your own hilarious finished cartoons. Young or old, complete beginner or artistic genius... Wilbur will show you how just about anyone and everyone can enjoy cartooning.
