New Exhibition at Qube Gallery

Qube gallery is starting the new year by hosting Qube Groups exhibition from Friday 6 January to Saturday 21 January. The exhibition displays the work of two art groups who continue to develop their skills at Qube through courses and workshops. A mix of work is on display including watercolours and collages and the artists range from complete beginners to the more advanced artist.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see work created by the Watercolour for Beginners attended by Oswestry U3A group as well as the Paintable group.  Both courses have been running throughout 2011 at Qube and this exhibition showcases the culmination of their work.

“Qube Groups exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for local work to be on display and acts as an inspiration for local people to come in and try a new skill through the range of art courses we have on here at Qube ” said Lindy Parkinson, Arts Co-ordinator at Qube.

On Thursday 12 January 12pm – 1.30pm there will be an opportunity to meet the artists and tutors and chat about their work at Qube when tea and cakes will be on offer – all are welcome.
