Kathryn Taylor

Hi I’m Kathryn! A dairy farmer and artist from North Wales. My little business started as a hobby in 2017, with growing interest I decided to set up an online shop in 2018. My artwork is inspired by my job and the cattle I work with.

I have always loved animals and growing up in the countryside has been a great chance for me to get involved in agriculture. I started volunteering as a calf rearer in 2011, I spent my school holidays looking after calves and I loved every minute of it! As the years went on and my experience increased, I pushed myself to working with the larger cattle more. Now aged 20, I can milk cows, feed calves, drive tractors and complete a whole range of tasks on the farm.

Painting and drawing has been something I’ve always enjoyed, I set up an instagram account to share my artwork and since then I have grown to having an online shop and completing a range of commissions too. I work with a whole range of media, I paint on cattle tags and wooden slices, I also make illustrations, lino prints and drawings. I love capturing the different characteristics of the cows!
