Upcoming exhibitions at Qube Gallery
This year will see the return of some of our favourite exhibitions including the Qube Open Art Competition, the Millicent Kaye Exhibition and the fabulous Christmas Crafts at the end of the year.
17th May to 15th June
Qube has been running a two-year project taking quality art experiences out into rural communities. The groups have tried their hand at textiles, mark making, printing, clay, drumming, Tai Chi, environmental art and creative writing. This exhibition features some of their beautiful creations.

Millicent Kaye Children’s Art Competition
17th to 30th June
This annual children’s competition attracts over 350 entries each year. Organised by Oswestry Rotary Club, local primary school pupils are invited to create a piece of art on a particular theme. Winning and highly commended entries go on display in the gallery.
3rd July to 1st August
‘MADE’ is an an Arts Council funded project that allows volunteers, health professionals, carers or those working with young people to come and learn simple craft skills that they can then pass on to others. This exhibition features to work of our four incredible paper artist tutors, Ryan Hall, Mary Crabb, Clare Pentlow and Yoshiko Ruff, and the beautiful works created by those in the classes.

3rd August to 3rd September
Nadia Kingsley, Paul Kielty and Giancarlo Faccinetti will be exhibiting some of their new and exciting digital art, all created on android tablets. They will also be holding workshops to inspire others to have a go.
Qube Open 2018
6th September to 15th October
This annual competition invites artist from all over the country to submit work on a particular theme. This exhibition features the shortlisted entries. There is a cash prize for the best in show and exhibition space for the People’s Choice winner. This years theme will be announced in spring 2018.
Wilfred Owen Festival
18th October to 16th November
This exhibition is part of the Oswestry wide Wilfred Owen festival, celebrating the life and work of the local poet.
Christmas Arts and Crafts exhibition
18th November to 23rd December
Over the festive period the gallery will be filled with locally made arts and crafts. The perfect place to pick up unique Christmas gifts.
