Qube Open Art Competition
Qube Gallery hosts an annual Qube Open Art Competition. This increasingly popular event attracts artists from across the country, with entries reflecting a set theme. Anyone is eligible to enter and works can be of any medium, 2D, 3D or digital.
A £500 cash prize is awarded to the winning artist, decided by an independent panel of judges. There is also a People’s Choice Prize for the artist with the most public votes. The winner of this will receive their own 4 week exhibition at Qube the following year.
An exhibition of shortlisted entries will be held at Qube and the winner of the Best in Show prize will be announced at a Prize Giving evening at the beginning of the exhibition. This evening always draws a big crowd and is a great opportunity for artists to meet and network with others.
Details of next years competition will be announced in Spring 2018.
Qube has five glass cabinets and card displays allowing for artists and craftmakers to display their work. It is free to display works and Qube takes a 20% commission (plus VAT on the commission) for items sold. If you would like further information on how to display in our gallery shop, please contact Qube at firstname.lastname@example.org.
