Emma Cummings is one of the 4 selected artists for the ART-efact residency this summer in Oswestry. In her cross-disciplinary practice, Emma examines our relationship with nature. Her work is rooted in scientific and cultural research, observational drawing and site-specific responses. She also works within the community with a focus on creative health.
Emma will deliver a workshop at Qube in conjunction with the ART-efact residency, exploring some of the themes and ideas that have arisen as a part of her research. In this workshop at Qube, Emma will lead a printing workshop. Participants can explore methods of monoprint and drypoint etching using foraged plant material from in and around Oswestry.
