What is Oswestry Dial-a-Ride?
Oswestry Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door transport service for people without access to public transport or a car.
We are able to operate Oswestry Dial-a-Ride thanks to our fabulous and friendly team of volunteer drivers and passenger assistants who work with our two full-time members of staff.
The service is essential for members of our community who can’t get out and about and it can make a huge difference to their lives.
Qube currently operates six minibuses seating up to 16 passengers and a mobility car. All of our vehicles are able to carry wheelchairs.
Who can use Oswestry Dial-a-Ride?
Adults of any age can use the service. Our frequent passengers are elderly, wheelchair users and those who are rurally isolated.
Where can I go and when can I travel?
The minibuses operate on a ten mile radius of Oswestry.
Oswestry Dial-a-Ride vehicle operates during the following times:
Monday to Friday – 9am to 4pm
Dial-a-Ride can be used for all sorts of activities. Some of the places our members like to go are:
To the shops or hairdressers
Visiting friends or family
Hospital or doctor appointments
On one of our organised trips
How much does it cost?
To use Oswestry Dial a Ride service you need to become a member which costs £20.00 per person / per year.
The cost of your journey depends on the distance you are travelling.
How do I book?
Your journey must be booked at least 24 hours before you want to travel. If you need collecting at a specific time we need as much notice as possible.
Our office hours are 10:00 and 15:00 on Monday to Friday. You can also leave a message anytime on the answer phone outside of these hours and we will return your call as soon as possible. Please speak clearly and leave your name, telephone number and tell us where you would like to go, which day and what time. A member of staff will return your call to confirm your booking.

What if I have to cancel my journey?
Please call us as soon as possible if, for any reason you have to cancel your journey. Leave a message outside of normal hours and we will pick it up.
