New exhibition: Colleen Sayers

Exhibiting on our Balcony gallery throughout April is watercolour artist Colleen Sayers.

Colleen, before returning to this country 20 years ago, has lived most of her life in Africa, firstly east Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda) and, latterly South Africa, where she started watercolour painting – her favourite medium.

The vibrant African colours she absorbed are evident in her paintings in which she is not afraid to use colour to the full.

She has exhibited in Durban, Capetown and Johannesburg and has also had several exhibitions in the UK.

She is a member of the Oswestry & District Society of Artists for whom she served as Chairperson for 7 years.
