We are asking our fantastic supporters if they’ll join our very own treasure hunt?

With generous donations flooding in every day, we need some eagle eyes and agile minds to help us sift through and select the finest fashions, homewares, games and more so that our stores of full of fantastic bargains.

This in turn will help fund our mission to reach every child and family living with a life-threatening condition and help them to thrive, play and giggle every day.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO JOIN THE TREASURE HUNT IN OUR SORTING HUB!

Processing Partners- delve into our donated items in search of treasures, pricing and preparing them for sale

Treasure Detectors- share your expertise to help us find the very best: fashion & brands; books, music and gaming; collectables; interior design items; stitching, repairing & refurbishing- rescue and breathe new life into old favourites

Van Driver’s Assistants- help our drivers to redirect donations to our Sorting Hubs and deliver sale-ready treasures to the shops.

Logistics Specialists- help keep the treasure hunting running like clockwork- keep an eye on volunteer rotas, plan delivery and collection routes

Online Sales Enthusiasts- help us to take the treasure-hunting digital for our online bootie-hunters.


What skills do I need?

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Enthusiasm and willing to join in and have a go

• happy to make friends with people from all walks of life

• have lots of common sense and are able to follow instructions

• To take part in every task you must be at least 16.

• We also offer short placements for 14/15 year olds (eg. for Duke of Edinburgh Awards).

• There is no upper age limit as long as you are fit enough to do the tasks listed.

• How long and how often you are able to volunteer is up to you- you might want a regular weekly slot, you can turn up when you’re available or bring along some friends for a one-off volunteering day

• You do not need to have previous experience
