Anthea Wood rediscovered her creative streak during lockdown 2020 after a break of about 10 years. Following an introductory lino print workshop in March 2020, Anthea now loves the challenge of turning designs into print and has set up Amwood Art as an outlet. This is Anthea‘s first competition entry following her return to art. This piece, “Shades of Summer”, is a reduction print made up of 8 print layers and composed of approximately 15 colours. With a week’s drying time between each layer, it took about two months to complete. A total of 11 prints made it to the final edition.
