“Candy floss trees”
These magnificent trees are on the Pradoe Estate, West Felton. They looked so regal set against the winter sky. I have tried to paint them so as to draw the eye away from the cover crops to the fore of the painting. The bright winter morning sun bringing the scene to life. It won the Ellesmere College Open competition 2017
“The way life used to be”
I painted this during lockdown. A very frustrating time for any fisherman that could not get out on the water. The title is apt to me, as I was painting it reminded me of the very happy times I had catching beautiful Brown trout.
