“I studied History of Art at Bangor University and worked in Special Education for 30 years. In the last 6 years I have had the opportunity to turn my attentions to my art work with inspiration from the Lake Vyrnwy landscape around me. I have exhibited at MOMA Wales and have hosted solo exhibitions at the Oswestry Visitor Centre and the Visitor Centre Lake Vyrnwy.”
“I enjoy the mediums of water colour, pen and ink, oil on canvas and pastel. Subject matter is varied and can be life drawing through to still life, flowers, animals, and landscape. I like to capture movement in animal life and life drawing. In landscapes I am interested in changes of light, the effect on colour and big skies.”
