Veronica Bowd

I trained at Canterbury College of Art and later at Exeter University. While bringing up my family I ran my own business painting wildlife, farm animals and pets to commission. Later I taught Art in schools. Since retiring I have been able to develop my own artwork. My paintings have been exhibited in Open Exhibitions, including Look Up North and the Lake Artists Society, as well as with local art societies in Kendal and Oswestry.    A sense of place is the theme of much of my work, but above all it’s the interaction between people and places that inspires me – the patterns they make and the stories they tell.
