Join Qube’s Arts Officer, Charlotte Jackson for an afternoon of needlefelting.

Charlotte will show you how use wool, coloured roving and a felting needle to create a small felted picture and a three dimensional object. You will be able take away at least one finished piece of work, depending on how quickly you work.

The process of needle felting is quick and easy to learn and is very satisfying with relatively quick results. Felt is created when wool or other animal fibers are densely matted together. It is one of the oldest known fabrics dating back as far as 6300 BC. Felting has become a popular craft which is used to create intricate works of art and sculpture.

We will provide you with all of the materials, tools and equipment needed to make your own unique felted creations.
