Qube’s 2.6 Challenge

Staff and volunteers at Qube Oswestry took part in a charity challenge to raise funds for support services in the local area.

For 26 days from 26th April (which is the day when the 40th London Marathon would have been run), staff and volunteers took part in a range of challenges to raise local awareness and generate much needed funds which will be used to provide shopping services, telephone support and befriending for members of the community who may not have family and friends nearby and for whom access to local support is not available.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all those who have donated and cheered us on since the start of the challenge. Your donations will really help us to continue supporting local people during this difficult time.

Arts Administrator, Charlotte, pledged to run 2.6+ miles early every morning for a week for her 2.6 challenge.

Big Local Administrator, Catherine, handmade 26 face masks for her challenge. These will now be donated to the NHS.

Transport Support Assistant, Tim, is cycling at least 6.2 miles six days a week for 26 weeks! Click here to see his photos…
