Volunteering

Qube Volunteer Centre has been promoting volunteering and working with local volunteers and organisations for over twenty years. We have a wealth of experience in everything to do with volunteers and volunteering; recruiting and placing volunteers to opportunities where they make a difference and providing support and advice to organisations to help them recruit, manage and retain their own volunteers.

 

FREE online training: A range of online training events have been launched to support community groups, voluntarily organisations and volunteers within Shropshire. See below for details.

Volunteering with Qube

 

Our volunteering database, Volunteering in Shropshire, holds on average of 200 different opportunities, with everything from costume making to community gardening and furniture restoration to First Responding.

 

Qube Volunteer Centre is part funded by the Building Better Opportunities (BBO), this fund supports projects in England that tackle poverty and promote social inclusion. BBO is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund. The Centre also receives support from the Three Parishes Big Local Project to support people living in the Three Parishes area.
