The Receptionist volunteer is a member of a team of voluntary and paid local office staff who provide a free, confidential, impartial and independent service to the public. The role involves meeting and greeting clients in the local office waiting room, making appointments in consultation with session supervisor and advisers. There is also a possibility of completing basic administration tasks in-between busy periods. Volunteers are based in the Oswestry branch on Arthur Street.


We are looking for someone who is computer literate with a pleasant, calm manner, good communication skills and able to maintain client confidentiality. We do not require volunteers to have any formal qualifications.
