Art History – Monday Afternoon

Art Historian, Sarah Gathercole has created another fascinating and inspiring programme of art history talks, providing illuminating insights into key periods and figures in art from early times up to the modern day.

The sessions will take place every Monday afternoon, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Dates are as follows:

19th Jan – Introduction to art history
26th Jan – Early renaissance Italy
2nd Feb – Court of Rudolf II 1552-1612
9th Feb – Velazquez –Spanish court

Half Term

23rd Feb – Japanese prints influence –van Gogh
2nd March – German expressionism
9th March – Photography the modern art form
16th March – Women war artists

No previous knowledge is required. All lectures are fully illustrated. Refreshments will be provided.

£90 per person for block of eight sessions.
