Could you host a Blood Pressure Checking Pop-Up?
Are you planning a community event? Do you work in a community focused organisation? Could you host a blood pressure checking pop-up?
Shropshire Community Blood Pressure Checks aims to address health inequalities by bringing blood pressure checking into the community. We have a team of trained local volunteer blood pressure champions who will run pop-up blood pressure clinics in local community venues, raising awareness and identifying people with high readings. Working with local NHS services, Shropshire Council and Qube, we signpost undiagnosed cases to further medical intervention and aim to improve local health outcomes.
