Let’s Talk About Art! with Sarah Gathercole

Join us for a guided discussion art group with Sarah Gathercole. There will be a theme for each session – the theme will be given in advance with some suggestions for private research.

 

Each session Sarah will suggest a website, a book, exhibition or gallery in the UK – These may not be related to the theme of the week.  You are encouraged to bring with you an art book, or news item that you want to discuss (although it is not compulsory). This is an opportunity to ask and discuss questions about art, there are no right or wrong questions!

 

The aim of the session is to help you think about art in its broadest terms  (no subjects are off limits) and hopefully give you some pointers to a more rounded experience when visiting galleries and museums – There may be the possibility of a visit to an exhibition or gallery.

The sessions will run once every 2 weeks for a total of six sessions.
Sessions will run from 2pm – 4pm, at OCA (formerly Qube)
