New Exhibition: Sylvia Stead

Mixed Media and Textile Artist Sylvia Stead will be exhibiting a collection of her recent works in our Main gallery until 2nd May.

She says “I aim to make a connection with people through my work, to help them feel the artistic excitement I have felt while creating them. I want to stimulate an emotional response in the viewer to the pieces I create; each piece of work is individually designed taken from the countryside, flowers and texture from the world around me.”

Sylvia will be holding a ‘Meet the artist’ event on Wednesday 13th April between 11am and 2pm. Pop along, say hello and find out more about her work.
