The group aims to offer a supportive and welcoming space for people with mild to moderate dementia, together with their families and carers.
Our Care and Share dementia support groups are a warm and welcoming place to socialise and make new friends for people with mild to moderate dementia, and their family and carers. We offer both the carer and family member with dementia a stimulating and varied programme of activitiessuch as reminiscence, quizzes, crafts, and music sessions.
The Care and Share Group Volunteer will support our Session Facilitator by helping the group members feel welcomed, comfortable, and able to participate in the activities. This volunteering role gives volunteers the chance to get involved with a fun, social group and to support people in the local community that are facing challenges.
