Opportunity
We are looking for someone with a background or interest in marketing to help us raise the Kitsquad profile. The role is flexible but we would love someone to give 10-15 volunteering hours a week. This role can be completed remotely and can be job-shared if the ideal candidate is unable to commit to the full hours.
You will be:
• Recognise opportunities to highlight aspects of the work that we do
• Help to write press releases
• Keeping our social media fresh and engaging
• Helping to put together newsletters, Kitsquad beneficiary stories and helping to think of campaign ideas
• Working with our website designer to keep our website up to date and looking sharp
• Assisting with e-flyers and creative content
• Spotting trends in the charitable and / or outdoor community and feeding this back to the rest of the team.
What skills do I need?
- Have some Marketing and social media experience
- Able to work well and engage with others
- Willing to be part of a dynamic and award winning team
- You will have initiative and drive to work alone
