Community Engagement Volunteers help us to engage our local communities to inform and educate them about crime and our work.
This role is:
-Public facing – will need to feel confident speaking to small and larger groups of people. However the majority of this will be carried out by the team.
-Occasional training is delivered outside of normal office hours
-Collect and review feedback following sessions.
-The confidence to speak at local events in front of an audience
-Good communications skills
-Previous experience of being a victim of crime or of the criminal justice system
