Sight Loss Shropshire is a charity that supports visually impaired people of all ages living in Shropshire.
Our charity receives donations of sight loss equipment, from talking clocks to video magnifiers. We are looking for 1 or 2 dedicated volunteers who will help kickstart and take charge of our rehoming service, ensuring that unused gadgets and gismos are getting to visually impaired people who will benefit from them.
The role will include;
Corresponding with equipment donors and recipients via email, phone and in person
Collecting and delivering equipment throughout Shropshire, using your own car (mileage will be reimbursed)
Ensuring equipment is working and clean
Keeping stock records using Google Sheets and Forms
Researching equipment value online
