Opportunity

Kitsquad is a registered UK charity. As a charity, securing funding is a high priority for us. We can generate some funding from our online charity shop, but we are also reliant on other methods of funding.

This position is can be job-shared if you are unable to commit to the full hours. A minimum of 4 hours per week is preferred, ideally based at Kitsquad HQ, in Atcham, though this role could be done remotely.

As a volunteer at Kitsquad you will be part of a creative, fun and supportive team. Making a contribution to people in poverty accessing the outdoors.

As an online Fundraiser you will be:

• Grants – sourcing and applying for grants

• Patreon – running our Patreon programme, including a monthly newsletter and month raffle for our Patreons

• Sponsored events – developing online fundraising packs and being the point of contact for people who are fundraising on our behalf.

• Raffles – organising and hosting raffles

What skills do I need?

Skills include: 
  • Ideally some fundraising experience
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • You will have the initiative to work alone and source funding opportunities
  • You will have a desire to help others

Availability to suit the volunteer. If you are wanting to work from our base at Atcham that is okay, but please note that we are only open Monday-Friday.
