Role Description;
- Assisting our trainer in a variety of outdoor activities throughout our extensive 5 acre site, incorporating garden and meadow-orchard, plus our private woodland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propagation, planting & pruning.
- Vegetable growing and harvesting.
- Digging and soft landscaping.
- General garden maintenance.
What skills do I need?
Skills/Qualities Required:
- Gardening experience required.
- A friendly, patient, team orientated, and inclusive approach.
- Able to follow health and safety protocols.
- DBS checks will be completed upon successful application.
We work with adults from the age of 18 struggling with a wide variety of challenges. These can include mental health issues, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, Dementia, PTSD, Autism, ADHD etc. We also work with school students from the age of 11 who are struggling in main stream education.
