Tasks and responsibilities may include any of the
following:
Overseeing studio operations and processes and
establishing best practice
Help to motivate and train our radio teams
Engaging with local community by overseeing
interviews and studio visits and processes
Identifying opportunities to improve best practice
processes
Additional Responsibilities:
Understand
the importance of the groups Health & Safety procedures.
Understand
the importance of confidentiality & safeguarding vulnerable children/and or
adults.
Be
aware of the standards set by INTUNE RADIO and the need to work to these
standards at all times.

The
Volunteer Studio Manager works as part of a team.
The
Volunteer Studio Manager should be reliable and arrive to help on the dates and
times agreed.
Training:
Every
volunteer will receive our mandatory training Broadcast and Studio Training
Every
volunteer will have access & be signposted to training which the group
feels is appropriate for the role.
Every
volunteer will be trained in all the tasks they are required to carry out to
ensure they have the skills and confidence to fulfil their role.
No
volunteer will be expected to carry out their duties unsupervised until they
are confident and skilled in these duties.
All
volunteers will be supported by Presenters and their skills and contribution to
the group will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Volunteers
are covered by INTune Radio’s public liability and personal accident insurance
while working with us.
Volunteers
have to be 18 or over. There is no upper age limit.
Session
Volunteers aged 18 or over or who have left school are required to complete a
DBS check as they are working with vulnerable adults and children.
