Balcony Gallery exhibition: Lisa Lochhead

Exploring Sacred Essence is a new exhibition by Shropshire based artist Lisa Lochhead.

In this mixed media body of work on archival paper Lisa explores her inner landscape of connecting to Feminine Essence. Through a meditative approach of listening to the subtle stirring inside she explores the expression of that place by working intuitively with layers of colour and allows the figures to emerge naturally. Each figure has a quality of being born from the unseen and they communicate a certain frequency or aspect of the spiritual journey and the embodiment of Love.

The work will be on display on the Balcony Gallery at Qube throughout October. You can also see some of the works online here…
