About
the role
The
Community Voice Panel brings together local people to help shape services and
decisions that affect their communities. As a volunteer, you will share your
experiences and insights to ensure local voices are heard and acted upon. You
will help ensure local voices are heard and make a real impact on community,
health, and care services across Shropshire.
What
you’ll do
- Attend quarterly panel
meetings (online or in-person)
- Take part in community
conversations and round table events
- Share your views and
listen to others’ experiences
- Help identify local
priorities, needs, and gaps in services
- Contribute ideas to
improve and shape services
- Support “You Said / We
Did” updates to show how feedback leads to change
Supporting
Healthwatch Shropshire
As
part of the panel, you will also have the opportunity (if you wish) to help
shape local health and social care services by:
- Reviewing what people say
about their experiences of care services
- Helping identify topics
for public engagement activities
- Informing visits to
services through the Enter & View Programme
- Reviewing draft reports to
ensure they are clear and accessible
- Highlighting emerging
needs and supporting underrepresented voices
- Raising awareness of
Healthwatch Shropshire in your community
