Opportunity
OTN produces a weekly audible version of local news, mainly from the Oswestry Advertiser and local magazines and it is run by a complementary team of committed individuals with varied skills.
We are looking for a new member to join our Distribution Team as part of our weekly productions.
This role is responsible for processing the memory sticks returned from our listeners and arranging for the weekly memory sticks to be sent out to our listeners.
OTN’s volunteers can claim reasonable out-of-pocket expenses, subject to the production of receipts as evidence of the expenditure. OTN has a consistent approach to the reimbursement of expenses which are the same for volunteers and trustees, and mileage is based on the authorised Mileage Rate (45p per mile).
What skills do I need?
This role involves operating a computer controlled with bar code driven software and following a documented procedure in processing the returned memory sticks from our listeners
• the copying of the weekly edition to recycled memory sticks and inserting them in envelopes for mailing.

. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues would help in this role.
