Opportunity

Market Drayton Community Enterprise (MDCE) would like to recruit some new trustees and/or volunteers to promote and develop its work within Market Drayton and the surrounding areas. We already work closely with a number of other voluntary sector organisation and act as an umbrella Charity for a number of enterprises. We are looking for people to promote our work and help raise funds. MDCE has two festivals planned for 2025 which require organising with stakeholders, marketing and managing. In addition we have a website, facebook page and are in the process of arranging an electronic screen in the town centre which needs help to manage. A potential project on the horizon is a welcome to Market Drayton.

What skills do I need?

The range of skills would include\'

good communication skills both oral and written

a possible knowledge of marketing or a willingness to learn

some management/organisation skills

ability to get on with people

a sense of humour

basic it skills

and a willingness to adapt whilst being non-judgemental, transparent and open to feedback
