Could you volunteer 1-2 hours fortnightly?

Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of our older residents living in our Retirement Living community at Edgefield green, Shrewsbury?

As a Volunteer Gardener you will be looking after the communal garden area, providing residents with a beautiful retreat in which to enjoy the outdoors, including:

• basic garden maintenance, including, planting, sewing, weeding, mulching, edging, raking, digging over, deadheading and bed preparation (no lawn mowing required).
• path sweeping and removing leaves in the autumn months, watering plants and shrubs in the hot summer months.
• encouraging resident garden enthusiasts to participate in the care of their communal garden.
