We're the charity that supports people as they become parents. Local NCT groups and activities are an essential part of what we do. Our aim is to build welcoming and inclusive communities that improve the wellbeing of parents. As a Treasurer you will help make this possible by playing an important role in budgeting and managing the money. This flexible role can be done from home at a time to suit you.

What’s involved?

• Looking after the charity's money by following NCT guidance and policies on spending

• Helping volunteers budget for groups and activities

• Keeping a record of income and spending • Processing volunteer expenses

• Keeping track of grant spending

• Quarterly reporting using NCT's simple online system

Time commitment:

• This is a flexible role that can fit around your commitments and availability

• The time you will spend volunteering may vary depending on the number of activities you are supporting. You could volunteer with as little as 2 hours per month

• We’re ideally looking for Treasurers who can volunteer for at least 6 months
